She doesn't cut anymore

She doesn't cut anymore,
All thats left are the faint red lines,
-Her stripes,
She wears them with pride,
As she can look back,
At the times where she was worse off,
"Another successful day" she thinks to herself...

Yeah. I totaly get that. Scars are just more memories, they remind you of what you can't let yourself go back too.
You did good on this one, lots of emotions, short, too the point, well written.

    (:

It interesting how you portray it as stripes like a soldier wears upon their shoulders. I think it expresses the mood very well and I can totally relate to it.

I kinda don't get this poem, and I usually don't comment if its a negative response or I didnt get it. Not that I had a negative view on it. I quite liked it. It reminds me of my friend. Poems that remind me of her I guess in a sense are good poems. The line which stood out though was the first line. This poem could have gone deeper. I guess it just left inspiration there for me to do something with a similar idea.
    Well done.

this is good. but i think that a cutter may look at the scars with shame, but i don't know. i like how you describe them as stripes.
