Final Rest

Unseen hands clench
crusted terra firma,
scratching savagely against time.

Pit's of hell arise,
to claim the unwanted soul.

Only Death himself
would expose the eternal
rest for the soulkeeper.

I like I like. The title is brilliant, but not as much as the poem itself. I loved the whole thing, usually theres lines that stand out more or theres verses that are better or ones that are worse, but this poem was great the whole way through. It captivated me.
    Well Done.

Hmmm, this is a take that i didnt expect funnily enough, and yet seems to be a theme another poet employed too, why didnt i see it?

In any case, to the basics, very clever, nice vocab, nice structure, and enjoyable read.

Thanks for the entry and best of luck to you
