Lie down now, at peace once more,
To rest on a bed of roses.
Let no problem or fear plauge your mind,
Let no tear of pain fall down your cheeks.
Your pain has gone and you are free,
Flying away from the bonds of life.
Your mission is complete, duty done,
With pride and perfection in all you work.
So close your eyes and be at peace,
Float away on a cloud towards eternal life.
But never be forgot to us,
All those who love you and whose souls you've touched.
Live on in our hearts and minds,
So forever we can be untill we meet again.
Joyous memories of happy days,
With smiles, laughter and love.
For you will be remembered with smiles and not with tears,
A colourful canvas of memories with no stain.
You gave us much in life to learn from,
Your energetic spirit guideing your life.
Your heart leading you in life,
You were happy to let it go.
So lie down now on a bed of roses,
Lie in peace forever more.

that is absolutly stunning hannah it really is. i could see this poem becomming very big if it was to be fully released into the world, because it is so beautiful and peaceful. it's a perfect piece to give tribute to your grandfather, this has no flaws whatsoeva its absolutly amazing, my only regret is that i've only managed to read it now and for that i am really sorry sis
