Apocalypsis

Black Dog, shrieking, howling
the moon upon midnight
been condemned by the grim

Black cat, green eyes, staring
he walks across the path
been jinxed by the sphinx

Friday, she's the thirteenth
lady of burlesque
the dark omen's woman

Now the cocks crow three times
Fly dark skies, hating eyes
the sounds of feet running

apocalypse today

I did this in a kind of Haiku format, exept it has 6 syllables in each row (666= hidden message) and this poem is kind of talking about those tellaevangelists and those kind of people who keeps saying the world is comming to an end, thats how it fits into the category of addictions, things people do to much of, or just do a lot of, or things people do that they shouldent be doing

Very creative way you have written this poem - unusual, glad you explained it in your author comments. Thought the color combination quite fitting too. Good flow and dark and frightening.

Wow would this have been amazing for the fourth round. But you just couldn't wait. You must really love trying different styles? like me! I woulda caught on to the 666 if you hadn't said it, or had I not gone to read the authors notes before trying to figure it all out. Also... it's televangelists. But do you not believe the world is coming to an end? Look at the weather (it's so awesome I am more and more convinced of God by it every day I see such amazing things). Great piece good luck!
