I held his hand as he held mine
Our hearts woven into a perfect design
We would defy the late night hours
Because we knew the world was ours
The stars were bright
It was the clearest night
As he whispered into my ear,
I love you forever, my dear
I wanted so bad,
That it was driving me mad,
For him to stay
But his love started to decay
And one night he killed me
He told me I was not the one for thee
He left me stunned and dieing
As my heart fell to the floor
I grew cold to the core
He was my one, my everything
He made my lungs breathe and my dead heart beat
I wanted to scream at him
And make him feel my pain so grim
He didn't care as he left me there
Days passed and God hadn't answered one prayer
Had he forsakened me too?
Was I alone and left for the dead
Sure why not? My heart is now lead
Damn this world and all it stands for
Love is only a fairytale and forklore
And now because of such an evil thing
I must go through life empty and dead
Empty to everyone and numb to everyting

The rhymes and rhythm in this are really, really stressed. The emotion also feels cliched. I hope you understand me removing this.
