Crawling on her tiny feet,
A misty evening of rains
Slipped in the yellow room
Wrapped in charcoal smoke
On the corner of a well-laid bed
She crouched beside me
And narrated stories of home
Of sweet tea and salty tears
Amid a noisy courtyard,
Between chuckles –
No one listened, no one saw
She came and left
Handful of your fragrance
She left around me
I’m inhaling it to survive
Lonely without you

Meticulous Craftsmanship
Indeed, your sewing of words, into rags of verses is something that reflects your understanding very well...
Thanks for sharing,

Excellent
Absolutely wonderful... Touches you right out...
I love the last stanza
Handful of your fragrance
She left around me
I’m inhaling it to survive
Lonely without you
Keep up the talent!
