Visions of my first love
Whilst we layed in a field of white flowers
Holding one another
A small butterfly hovered over us
Catching my glance
Its wings were transparent like glass
My eyes continued to follow its path
I watched as it gracefully landed on a flower
I got up slowly to follow it
As I ventured deeper into the woods
Hundreds of butterflies surrounded me
Their many colors reminded me of a peaceful paradise
I continued to walk admiring the flying beauties
When I came upon a waterfall
I layed down and listened to the waters steady rythem
And I soon drifted off to sleep
I woke up, regaining my consciousness
And saw my lover was watching me as I dreamt
As we laid in a field surrounded by white flowers

I loved this poem! It was a realllly pretty image. It reminded me of A Midsummer Night's Dream (I loved that book, too!) It's like a daydream, with a picture-perfect landscape to wander in. Bravo, my lil bee!!
