F ury blazes in darkened eyes
I reful emotion cannot be disguised
R age thinly veiled by contemptuous expression
E ven as a child, righteous emotion isn't lessened

C ourageous child, still true to feelings earned
H ow long though, before hypocrisy is learned?
I n the future, her honesty will be condemned
L eaving her unsure of emotions within.
D ear child, don't let that spark die out.
