My heart grieves for you dear sister.
For the earthly death of your child.
So heavy must be your burden,
that tries to keep away your smile.
You miss your precious little girl,
my heart it cries for you.
It aches for your husband,
and your younger daughter too.
Cayla is in Heaven,
in the Heavenly choir she sings.
I know that you're missing her,
and to her memory you cling.
I wish that I could take away,
the emptiness you feel.
All I can do is pray for you,
in my prayers as I kneel.

1992-2002, the years just rang in my head, made me feel the loss. the poem was beautiful, well written and hope-giving. it's just the span of her life really got to me, so short. i nearly cried (and it takes a lot for me to do that).

Good write but so very very sad.

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure this again had to be another difficult one for you to write. I admire your strength and your ability to hold so much compassion in your heart to write such a beautiful poem for your sister. She is so lucky to have you in her life during this great time of need.

About your niece, I can see that from what you've told me before. Wonderful memorial and comforting words to your sister. She knows that Cayla is one of the many guardian angels that God sends down.
Thank you for your comment on "Snip by Snip" - haha, I know exactly what you thought
