The foolish flirt I became,
Making me feel so utterly lame,
The way I just now opened my eyes,
Just finally realizing my own lies.
For now I now why it’s called a “crush”.
My hope, my feelings, my confidence,
Now crushed, collapsed under my feeling that once rushed.
My first crush taught me to stop messing with love
Cause all it does is tease you
Then with one swift shove
You left in the deepest of the blue
And love...its worse
It's like a taboo curse
And it can only be lifted when your eart brakes
And when it does, you'll have a permanent scar
To remind me of the pain you went through
The way he didn't care and threw you away
The way you thought he might come back some day
But soon you'll came to ralize, with a torn up heart,
That love was only a memory
And now you have to find someone to sew up the scars
So that the cycle could start all over
