a wise old snake

"Hello" to the squirrel who crawled onto my arm to look me in the eye.
when I had leaned upon a tree.
The amazement slipped me as the sparrow dove upon me.
I fell backwards on the grass and a legion of insects.
Screamed at me,"WAKE UP"
A great coiled serpent arose within me and awoke.
" No kingdom did I ever make, only a concert of our voices"
"Wow" my form felt its insignificance.
" I am he who was the garden" ,The serpent said.
Dust I was,and it asked,"Are you with us?"
MY brain rocked and I understood
"Yes" I am alive and earth is home."
"Repel invaders" said the life of the planet.
I watched as insects and birds became angry.
as rabbits and rats vowed a diet of humans.
and every bee and wasp swore it would not die
without human blood on its tail
My part was the school of yellow magick
to confuse good and evil as the conflict itself is
The lesson.
A big black bird said,"Love is the law."
love under will is the usual answer
Until I asked ," who's will?"
and the serpent spoke in my spine and brain
and it said, MINE."
"They are like locusts" the serpent said.
It said I was different.
