Leaves

A swarming of auburn,
yellow and brown
Dancing left, flying right,
floating up and down.

Round and round,
departing from their home
stressed against constant pressure,
now free to roam.

Remaining leaves reach to follow,
pushed by aggressive winds
Pulling free leaving their nest,
fluttering away in a spin.

barren braches wave goodbye,
hoping for the best, as they float high.
