Wakes up in the morning
Looks in the mirror
Slathers on make up
To get the perfect look
Walks down to the kitchen
Eats nothing, drinks water
Tries to suck in her stomach

Flips through a magazine
Sees all those beautiful models
She changes the way she is

She goes to her university
Her friends tell her she's too skinny
But she starves herself anyways

okay, i know that this isnt great but the main reason i always have prewrites is because it takes me for ever to write a poem that i think is really good.. this is ok but i know i can do better so when you judge, dont go to harsh yet because i am not done..

well kiddo i think this is excellent it captures it wonderfully. it is the mind of a true student who everyday is influenced by the media to be skinny and slim and it dosnt matter how many times we are told that we are too skinny we are to over run by the media to care. a wonderful write well done and best of luck
