I close my eyes and listen
her song mingling with her child’s laughter
bends down her soft hair falling across her face
I breath in deep freezing this moment in my mind’s eye forever
She is what every man wants and desires
but only I know her inner beauty
or seen what lies mystery beneath her sensual smile
only I know her love and passion
She softly whispers my name
and every pain and worry washes away
my defenses drop
allowing my vulnerabilities to show
Outside this world we have created
the storm rages and howls in despair
