innocence personified
no malice in her being
giving nature you will find
never disagreeing
shy and hiding behind her wings
no thought to cause alarm
with such beauty she sings
filled with alluring charm
wishing only to protect
those that she holds dear
nothing but love can we detect
in her presence there is no fear
peace will flow from folded wings
to comfort in all confusion
security she brings
yet I fear she is an illusion

A cute and imagery-ridden poem about angels. Very nice. Depicts them as shy, sweet, caring, and beautiful creatures. I liked this; it was appealing to the mind, lol. Thanks for entering!

HOw beautiful this is!
Illusion or not, she brings such comfort and perhaps we need something to believe in ........
Beautiful interpretation of the prompt and a wonderful pic and presentation!!!
