"Shall I go catch a mouse or bird?
Naw, too energetic.
Not when I can just lie here
And wait for my bowl to be filled.
Will it be meat or fish today?
I hope its not just those biscuit things,
They are O.K in an emergency,
But not a serious consideration
For an aristocratic cat like me.
I suppose I should move into the shade,
But its such an effort.

a pleasure to read this poem! images that made me smile and admire and think you must have enjoyed writing this fine entry because it has a really good spirit about it.

Oh poor baby, too tired to move? What need someone to carry you? Cats are so pampered. That's why they are cats.
-
Easily reasoned why this placed. It is a prelude to the attitude of a feline. Ha! Thanks for your humor and experianced view of the cat! I enjoyed the read.

I can just imagine the cat thinking these thoughts. He does look a very laid back moggy, judging by that picture. Congrats on your bronze trophy!
