The flickering life

A busy street,
pedestrians walking dutifully,
children prancing in their uniforms.
vehicles humming their horns.

All stares were diverted
to the body lying
in the midst
of all these tantrums.

She lay there
as if unconscious
tight fisted
eyes closed,
loud breathing.

Suddenly, she hugged her knees,
and brought them close.
I reached my bag and gave her a pill
Glad for my doctor degree.
"Yoga is for everyone,
but not for everywhere,
but damn acidity."

Hmmm, interesting. This has a very dark, gloomy air to it. My main qualm is the colloquial nature of this poem. Tighten your words up with fancier words. I like where this is going, but it definitely has some time. Overall nice job. Good luck.
