Body so tired, but thoughts spinning so
Memories flooding, they just won't go
Bits of conversations, flash in my mind
Sleep came and went, left me behind
Tossing and turning, inside and out
Please let me rest, I want to shout
Seems like the darkness has come alive
Wondering if this time I will survive
Slide show of images, in black and white
Watching the hours slip by in the night
Just as the sun peeks through the curtain
Sleep again has betrayed, of this I am certain

Absolutely dead on...you have peened us, who are insomniacs well..mine would scare the crap outta of ya though...woke up this morning after 2 hours of sleep, covered in sweat, and laying in my foyer with a sprained ankle...how could I pen that..anyway...the rhyme is awesome..best of luck!
