How creative! Tis is the second time I see a haiku written in vertical lines, Yem did it recently.
Not only you gave the shape of a roman column, but also a Japanese way of writing.
The haiku itself is very good as well. Very well done!

Very nice job on both the concrete form and the haiku. It seems that there might be a couple filler words, but I am sure that was to get the column to work out for you.

Gosh, you're creative with this concrete-haiku form. I can hardly think of the haiku, but I know here on AP the formatting is super-duper challenging.

Great haiku, and I know no images are desired for this contest, but I think it would be a ideal if afterwards you found a column image that you would be able to cut and trim for both the bottom and top of this haiku. I love decorating posts, and I can hardly wait until this contest is over to add a leaking faucet dripping over mine!

Good luck, Maa, but you'll hardly need it with the entries I've read of you in this contest!

Wow, this really cool. You created columns like in the haiku, very nice indeed. And Roman columns too, I like it.

Oh, now this is just clever! To line your words as Roman columns--that's so creative! And I really like the truth of what you say about the noon sun and the absence of shadow. Ah, were we to always to walk in the illumination of such sun! Darkness would truly be dispelled!

A Concrete Haiku, how cool! The lime background the shape of the tree and the wordt give the feeling of warmth.

    Love,

thank you for your kind comment and applause, sweetie ... in the meantime, I transformed the lime-tree into a roman column, since the crown of the tree would project some shadow underneath it, while the pillar won't ... I was too silly to realize it, needed my smart hubby to alert me ...
