The Battle in Me

I've Fallen away.
Fallen from you,
I've lost sight of the truth.
You said: "come away my beloved"
Come away from the dark
I did for a time
But then I got lost.
Fell into yet another trap.
The coils of satan
Are stronger then I
But you my Lord I call this night.
"Give me your truth,
Show me my path,
Let me conquer myself,
Throw away this natural man
Take it out that I might not sin against thee.
Hold me in your arms,
Help me lord,
I'm afraid to let go
give me the strength,
To drop this Natural man.
So that my spiritual man,
can take over."
I've cried and cried
But then you said:
"I've been with you this whole time.
You can let go when you wish
You know where to find the truth.
Seek and ye shall find."
I'll let go now I must take this leap,
God is my strength.
God is my might.
Now it is time
Here goes my leap of Faith.

Author notes

I fell away from God and now I'm trying to get back to God.
I also got the inspiration for this from the movie "Peaceful Warrior" it had a hidden message I thought.

Its not ever the devil made me do it, its the devil said to do it and I listened instead of going to God and asking for help to win the fight.

Please tell me what you think
