Wittian:
A Wittian, developed by Old Doc Wit, is a 20 line poem consisting of 10 rhymed couplets and using a word count of:
1 st couplet 2 words,
2 nd couplet 5 words,
3 rd couplet 1 word,
4 th couplet 4 words
5 th couplets 3 words
Then back the other way:
6 th couplets 3 words
7 th couplet 4 words,
8 th couplet 1 word,
9 th couplet 5 words
10 th couplet 2 words
The last couplet is reversed from the first couplet

Amera, I just recently finished up an inivite contest from Lady P and it was a rounds contest. She chose this form for the final round and I got a silver for it. I just had to do one to send my get well wishes to her. This is my second attempt at the Wittian. I know you will do one with ease. Thank you for the applauses and your lovely words of praise. You are an inspiration. I'm very happy that you enjoyed this form and the piece itself. This was also one of Shari's backgrounds that I fell in love with and she had no problem with sharing it. Theresa, I met Shari on here a few short months ago when I joined The Titles Challenge Group and she is such a wonderful and amazing woman. I love unicorns and Pegasus, pretty much anything to do with mythology. When I saw this background she had I asked immediately if she would mind letting me copy it. She was happy that I wanted it. I have been worried and especially after the message on the last contest she just judged that was an invite one. I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers as I know everyone else will be doing and I chose the Wittian Acrostic as she is a master at them and gave us this form in the final round of the contest. It is my second attempt at it. Thank you for the applause and your lovely words of praise, I also want to thank you and Lady A for thinking of her and hosting this contest in her honor.
