It's eating at you... Right?
That smile on your face
Is stale and fake-
You force your cheeks
To show your teeth,
But I see you crying underneathe.
It's become hard... Hasn't it?
You enjoy a laugh
But it never seems to last-
You may be a stranger,
But I can feel your anger,
Constantly staring at a middle finger.
They're coming for you... Aren't they?
You asked they're presence
To execute your life sentence-
I've heard them once before,
When my life was isolated horror,
But I've picked myself up from the floor.
It's not too late... Is it?
I'll be your brother's keeper,
But you must dismiss the reaper-
Let me into your life,
And I'll help dull that painful knife,
As I patch your wings for this flight.
Please tell me what you think

ah yes...Matt's writing.
brought tears to my eyes...had almost forgotten the feeling.

Powerful write. Makes me think of how even when people try to hide their feelings from people, just by how they're acting sometimes others can tell something is bothering them. Keep up the great work.
