That feel of being loved cradling my mind
Because you loved, I've never felt truely alone
The way my hand fit in yours was like my world in your palm
The way you would hold my face and stare
Stare like I was the last thing on Earth to look at
I could hear your tears and smell your happiness
I breathed it
The thoughts you never saw were always there
They still remain there like dusty photos
A little tainted and a tad over viewed
But never discarded; never forgotten
You believed my flaws were what made me perfect
I believed you were half crazy
But because you loved me so simply
Because you loved me at all
Gave me more fear and elation that I've ever known
But could never understand
So thank you
