Many people come into our lives
Leaving their imprints with us
They come and go all the time
Yet we will always remember them
They teach us different things
And we learn from them
They help us grow up,
Making us a better person
Because I knew you,
I have become a better person
And I have been changed
For good
Although we may never meet again,
I want to let you know
You have influenced me greatly
And you'll always be with me,
Like I could ever forget you
What ever way my life goes
You have helped me achieve it
Simply by being my friend
We've had our arguments
I want to apologize
For all the things I've done
Yet we share the blame,
But none of it matters anymore

I'm using For Good, since i LOVE that song!! Its just so... idk. My school choir sung that at my Graduation, so its kind of special to me.

Though th emotion is the strongest part of the piece, the words you use to convey it seemed cliched (for lack of a better word). Also, freeverse poems look so much better if they are left aligned. Thank you for entering, hope you understand me removing your piece.

My sister and I sang that as a duet... =] 'Twas one of those moments where you just feel really lucky to be where you are with the person you're with...this poem really brought that out. Thank you.
