Memories of chaos
Broken speaches
So many promises
That no one wants to keep
Yet we still believe
Follow the leaders
Down to our doom
Faith carries on
Yet it cracks like glass
Yet we still believe
The sun still rises
The stars shine bright
The lights fade out
And the dark surrounds
Yet we still believe
We cry for our dead
We cry for our loss
We cry for the defeated
We cry for ourselve
Yet we still believe
For those without hope
For those without love
The empty hearted club
Joins eternities lost
Yet we still believe

Line 2: speeches?
Line 19: ourselves?
Habit, sorry. It's good, but rather gloomy, as if all perseverance is in vain because anything gained will in time be lost; not saying that isn't true, but it has a defeatist air of futility. And you know me, that's not my cup of tea. Good luck to you though.
