My sister took a ride on a long narrow-winding road,
Putting her life on standby mode.
She sat there with no place to go
With a sad sigh taking her too low.
Her broad shoulders drooping
As she carried tons that had her stooping.
With tears in her eyes and frustration on her face,
A tender voice called out to her.
"Oh my dear friend,
When you feel the road has ended it has just begun.
When you feel like you are going in cirles,
There is a message you must take heed of.
When you feel like you are down,
There is nowhere else to go but up.
And when there is a burden on your shoulder,
Things could only get lighter."
My sister took a ride on a long narrow-winding road,
But stood up and smiled as she realised the road had ended,
Making room for a new adventure.
Author notes
I played a little with my words. This is written for you, Lady-Pegasus, and the tender voice is supposed to be me- tender-butterfly

An interesting piece...
An interesting piece; we all encounter many winding roads in this path called Life; however, we need to remember to tap into the Lord's strength for each of those journeys; nicely done. --Joe
