I made this for you.

Stolen lanterns,
silver flask flashes in the rain.

This poetry comes with a parental warning:
it doesn’t have to be this awkward.
You were drunk when you put her dreams in your back pocket,
Discard half my words and plagiarize the rest
--turns out beggars can be choosers.

Sleeping on a bus in the middle of the night pays time and a half.

She’s writing twenty-one letters
          for twenty-one people
on the twenty-first day of the month

If you don’t understand a word you just read I’m not surprised.
This is a true story that went through the wash in my jeans.

When you die this will be worth something.

Most people probably won't "get" this but you have to just give up on it and let the images and words wash over you before you decide you don't like it

Very interesting. Yes, I do not understand it -- but you used your words very good.

im going to be trueful and say that i never got what this was a bout, however in saying that I liked it it was different, and that always scores high in my book,

oh and i liked this bit would work as lyrics for asong i think:

I'm actually working it into a song. It's not really meant for you to get what it's "about". It all references specific events/moments throughout one night but I like for the images to just hit you because at some point you stop trying to understand everything. I could explain it all to you but I think that takes away from it.

Very nice. I love this. It draws a picture in my mind. Kind of like a movie. I might just sound weird, but i really do like this piece. And its also very interesting.. something i would have never thought to write about =]
