-It all could have been stopped if it had just been given more time
-But hell never know now that his feet are at the threshold
-She steps on the accelerator as hard as she can
-After reading the note about his plan
-The wind hits his face and briefly he’s at peace
-Until the pieces of his broken heart make him weak in the knees
-He grabs the railing to steady himself
-Three long years he thinks to himself
-Three years spent hoping shed finally know
-The whole time him thinking what they both didn’t have the courage to say
-She thinks three years to on her ride up to the top
-Three years she could’ve had what she wants right now
-To have a life with the one whom she’s riding to now
-Yes three years he says aloud I wasted it all just to be here now
-He hopes she will get his note that he left
-The one that he wrote saying he’d still love her in death
-She runs up the stairs trying to stop him
-He looks over 30 stories and lets go
-Just as she yells his name and dives over and drops like a stone

-She reaches out a hand he grabs in haste

-They pull towards one another until they embrace

-They look into one another’s eyes and they know they’ve just only seconds

-Till their end they’ll share in the terrible descent

-One last glance and their first kiss

-Its also their last oh what sweet bliss
-Impact....
-He hears himself scream as they hit the ground
-He snaps back to consciousness and he looks around
-He gets himself calm and lays his head back down
-He looks to his left and there in plain sight
-He sees what makes his life perfect and he whispers in her ear good night

wow! this is just really good! The whole countdown scene made it real, like I wanted to scream out. There cannot be a worse way to die (well maybe there is), and dying with a person you like/love - I don't know if that's good or not. Hm...
Anyway, very well written! I really like it! -
