If Heaven has a voice and joy could be touched
Then my hands would gently hold the angel that returned from the sky.
If my dreams led me to the vision of happiness
Then my eyes would see that angel's smile.
If I had a moment in the Summer and the Winter with her
I would spend it embracing the natural beauties of her and the sun
Or dance in the white snow that is delicate as her skin
When I stand alone, the whispers in the wind speak her name
And the rays of gold comfort me as if she is with me.
Even though I'm one of many she looks upon,
She's the one of a kind of which I look back.
To love her is a dream, to hear her is a pool of light, to know her is my honour.
And if there was one last moment to spare
To tell her my heart's message, full of love, full of care
It would be the words......
"I Miss You"

This was written back in May for a friend I missed for so long, having read it back today adds an extra level of personal means in regards to a family member who passed away.

I wonder why you took it out of the contest? I got the message that it was submitted, which is what brought me here, but it's not in there anymore so I assume you took it out.
Regardless, this is very beautiful, as I am sure you have heard, and you speak of angels, which could also interpret metaphorically to some, like me
This makes me think of relationships (as I'm sure you can tell by the contest...the kind of "missing" mood I'm in). It has a very quiet and serene calmness to it that really shines, your words have come together perfectly and creates a heart tugging piece for me and I'm very glad to have come upon it. I'll bookmark it so I can come back and read your other writes
