You know I had been meaning to comment on this a long time ago but then I wasn't on this site for awhile and I completely forgot!
But I was reading in the featured today and saw it here, so here I am. 
I hadn't listened to this yet but I will tomorrow. It loads really slow because my computer is a dinosaur! 
I liked the lyrics though because the meter seems rhytmic but in different waves. And so now I'm curious how it sounds. I like how you change the wording just a little as it goes down. If someones not paying attention than they won't even catch it. You did a good job on this!

A wild and beautiful story of lost love. Your imagery and descriptions are vivid.
I'm guessing this goes and flows even better with music, am I right? And on the technical side, perhaps it could have been set out differently -- I think the paragraphs sections could use some effective line-breaking.

How IS the band doing. One of these days you guys will play a gig in LA when I actually can get there to listen and be the host to all dutifully-warranted abuse.
As you probably discerned ages ago, I haven't been too active on the site over the past few months. It's poetry and lyrics like yours, though, why I never really left and am here enjoying this. I hope all has been well with you Jeremi, and that the band is "kicking ass" (yes, cliche, but who cares) down South.
