Goodbye letter

Dear,

It's funny how everything comes with mix blessings. I never thought you and I would fall apart. Like wrinkles that make one's appearance look so old or silver hair that makes one's look as if he has a lot wisdoms, life's beauty is perplexed. Sorry for the grief we shared, I hope we see pass the misunderstandings and harmonize as we move on forward.

Aches and sadness are my current scars. Every time I think of you, tears cascade down my cheeks. I wish I could express my true emotions but certain things in life must left unspoken. I wish you well and may you find grace in everything you do but I will never forget how you bruised my heart. I hope you're happy now, you broke what was the most sacred of our love; your words you did not keep, love me like I love you. I love you like the air in my lungs, it is with profound sadness that I have to exhale you out.

Peace and happiness, may we part in good spirits. Although I know this separation is hard to bear, yet I have to accept the bitterness of your absence. No more golden sunset, no more walking by the lake, no more late night phone calls. Truly, there is sadness in my heart but I must not neglect the malicious act that brings us here. I love you faithfully, I fought with pride every great temptation, I never kissed nor let any other woman come before you. I never thought you would let me down, but you did. Oh well, it is with great sadness that I have to say farewell, you were my everything.

Goodbye my lady, for the present, you are forgiven. Pardon the affectionate unfamiliarity; kind regards, as happy as I am, tears still run down of my cheeks in remembrance of you. Today I pluck with my bear hands a dozen of red roses just for you. You should receive it before the day ends. It is sent via first class mail with a little note sealed with my own sugary kiss. Ah! cheer up -- You will forever remain a sparkling jewel in my poverty. In addition, I thank you a whole lot. Even in your absence, I will still find a million of reasons to be pleased. You will cordially be missed.

What a beautiful piece of work. Emotionally you used perfect words, and held onto them perfectly. You did not falter throughout the whole thing.

    Great job, and how sad.

This though bittersweet is filled with such love. You can feel the love still within the words of saying good bye. An undertone of disappointment and disgust are evident yet they don't over power the sincerity of your love and you have taken the letter of thanks and gave it that twist. Thank you for breaking my heart....but in doing so..I am better off. May the love you so seek and seem aptly able to give find you and hold you as the rare jewel that you appear to be. Best of luck in the contest and in life's journey.

    sigh...

if someone could write me such words even half as beautiful as these even if in goodbyes....i think my heart would be forever content.

this is rich with emotion and depth, lovely and yet filled with a sadness that has been come to terms with.
best of luck in the contest
