I could never please you
no matter what I accomplished
Cutting me down with your razor tongue
Destroying my self esteem
My self worth non existent
Seeking your unconditional love
has me tired and beat down

 

My hurts are dismissed by you
Your ego feeding on my despair
Nothing else for me to do to show you
how much I want you to love me

 

So as I remove myself from this life of pain
I leave you with that which has kept me alive
I have nothing left to give you
But the blood from my veins

    I can relate to this write,it delv's into my past,very good choice of words,profound delivery....good work! I also have a write called nothing left,much different then this though!!

    I can understand this feeling, but you must not let yourself get too hard because of this. The person you wrote about here was not the right one for you. There is someone out there for you, so you must keep on going till your time to meet each other arives. Sorry about your pain, but there are better days to come!     A very precise statement

    Soulful Woman seems to be describing anger; anger at somthing which is being interpreted in a form we can all understand. Also there is a distinct sense of frusteration; might that frusteration be the result of an inability to deal with a situation? As always, Soulful Woman has captured the very essence of verse and it's ability to convey feeling, emotion, thought, and love/anger. VERY well done

    Holy Moly! This piece (especially the pic) is pretty disturbing...but I guess that's the idea isn't it? Nicely done...in a sad & spooky way.

    woah. this was really sad and deep and sad. the imagery was strong and yet brough tears and past memorys back to my mind. this was strong and wonderfully written well done and best of luck
