Not sure if i get the same meaning as other but i see a lover who is confused about the truth in a relationship. he/she sees the evil that can come from lies but also know the wrongs that can come from truth. but to keep both from hurting he will let sleeping dogs lie. well written wonderful flow and great imagery do run througout the piece. hope the funk clears soon enough -

I suppose this is subject to interpratation as to the events being written about but this much I did glean. You should not have to cover the truth for anyone. You are entitled to be unshackled and be free of lies. For lies are a cruel prison that torture your mind. I should hope that you find a solution to your problem.
