She was born on the same light
Inside the warm womb
The same breast feed her
And she lived in the same house
Grew up among her silibings
Undet the caring of her Mom
Dad's mighty arms holds
Catching her every fall
Suddenly she was set-up
To live in a new home
Crying as she had to leave back
Her play ground and her dreams
'Ma, Pa, why can't I live here?
Like my brothers?
Why am I send away?
To a new life?
This is where I was born?
Why can't I stay?'
She said and ask all the questions
Finding no really answers
Something about society and roles
Every girl has to go
And settle down in a new home
That's what her Pa explain
While her Ma cried
Telling her a Spinster woman
Is better as dead
Don't you bring us the shame
And so she left the home
Where she laughed and cried
Where she played sing and dance
Left her home and her memorries
Went to a new place and a new family
A daughter who turn into a bride
Suddenly she was a strange
To her own blood
When she came to visit
They treat her almost like a guest
Nothing seems to be old
New faces, new emotions
But the rules were the same
Her own daughter was going to turn
Soon into....
Daughter/Bride.

Excellent
Yet again another different take on this picture. you have come up with a background story that I myself again would not have thought of. An arranged marriage must be a very hard situation to find yourself in, but as we know it does still happen in some religions. This poem I feel shows the sadness of such a arrangement. well done and thank you for entering my contest good luck (Brian).
