trying to forget

in the past

i have done things

i want to forget

can i close my eyes

and let it all go away

let the rose petals fly

to the sky

and let the memories die

cutting skin

scars under the shirt

crying in a dark room

with the music booming

trying to forget

everything i have done

trying to take

the one big step

to forgiving myself

let the tears fall

and hit the ground

maybe with a little luck

everything else will fall with them

    I totally agree eith KateT I to have done alot of stupid things in the past but they make me stronger today.I have enjoyed reading this

    I've done a lot of things that I'd like to forget too, but in some ways I don't want to forget them. They make me stronger and help me learn from the past. I can totally relate to this. This is a well written poem...I really enjoyed reading it.
