let me feel your chest on my back
kiss my neck with those soft lips
make my every sense go off the radar
your laugh pierces my ear as you feel me shudder
I lay my head on your broad shoulder
wrapping my arms around your neck
you kiss my cheek and whisper,"I love you."
it makes me smile with so much happiness
and it feels so wonderful to be feeling this way
especially about you my darling
after so long of being alone
not believing that there is love out there
I met you that one rainy day
I love you more than what I could ever say
and when I look into your eyes
you know how I feel deep inside
as you place your hand upon my chest
where my heartbeat is quickening by the second
you then take my hand in yours
and place it on your chest where your heart beats
it beats like that of a song that plays
you nod knowing what question played in my eyes
yes, that song played for me and you
it's our own little song that only our hearts can hear
and baby I know that me and you
are meant for each other forever in this land of make believe
