love of my life
taken away from me so fast
I tried to protect you
but it wasn't enough
I was too weak
you live forever in my heart
that does not beat
but it once did for you
the years have passed
have no meaning
the light that once shown bright
now dwindles away as each
night under the stars
I am alone
two years with you were amazing
out in the sunlight
your joyis laugh
your loving smile
your tender touch
your soft kiss
your warm eyes
were all I needed
when you said I love you
and held me so close
I had everything in the world
but that damn faithful night
took it all away
now my heart is dead
no soul occupies this body
you were all of me
without you here
I feel as though life is not worth living
not even in death
