hidden somewhere in my room is a wristwatch
and the alarm is going off
been this way, everyday
for twelve odd years
and inexplicably, perhaps some force is preventing me,
I can't seem to find it anywhere
and I'm cryin' unto god
saying, "make it STOP!"
I don't really sleep anymore
just make the rounds
and pass out meds
keeping everyone happy like
some kind of floating head
I could move out, 'cept I can't
My car is no bronze stallion
my name no golden ticket
Twelve odd years, coming clear
closer now, but I just can't seem to...whats this?
My god, its on my wrist!
