There are places in the heart
Where the brave dare not go
There are faces in the dark
That only shadows know.
There are dreams for those who plan
A lifetime of gain
And those screams never can
Hide the strife and pain.
And it only takes a moment
For the world to turn one day
While a heart breaks with one movement
As someone turns away.
(Refrain)
So with time don't waste it
It can pass by without a pause
You can blink and then you'll miss it
And then you've lost another cause
Keep your head and never lose it
So don't panic keep your cool
Stay in bed if you so chose it
There really isn't one golden rule...
There are days out in the sun
Where the gentle breezes blow
There are ways to get things done
With all those plans that help us grow.
There are many reasons why
We don't aim beyond the stars
For all the seasons fly
As we try to hide the scars.
For each of us in turn
Must decide our own sweet fate
For even paper burns
As sparks touch us before they fade
(Refrain & ad-lib to fade...)

This is simply wonderful, I love it, the flow is melodic and you can hear the music in your head as you read it. Thank you for a great entry. Love, C
