Puppets go thwack
Child goes smack
Puppets go bang
Child goes hang
We are influenced by what we see
everyone; you and me
It's how we let it control us
that could make, or break; us
The media should inform and teach
instead it acts like a leech.
It sucks us dry
with its lie.
Puppet goes whack
Child goes thwack
Unable to distinguish truth from fallacy
Children act all callously
They kill and they steal,
just enough to feel
like the puppet from their show;
really life is low.
The media controls our lives
....but only if you let it.

your views are greatly wanted though faye...just need to be careful about wording them sometimes lol this was an awsome write though it was descriptive and exactly what i wanted because it shows how children today are greatly influenced by the media and how they are influenced. unfortunatly i dont think that it will ever change because there will always be tv and situations which will influence the child. well done and best of luck to you.
