Racing through the sky, I search for a star,
I travel near and then I move very far,
Cart wheeling eagerly, I reach the edge,
Holding on tight, I turn the next page,
And there is the star, falling through the sky,
Red and gold splatter as it passes me by,
Dancing among colours, I twirl and spin,
I dance with the stars and autumn wind.

Lovely imagery here, and the rhyme and meter are smooth in their flow. Your poem brings to mind a carefree experience I had one autumn day a while back . . . Thanks so much for entering my contest!
