I heard the shocking news today as I sit in disbelief,
Knowing that you were murdered has brought a brand new grief,
I can't believe that you have died the way it has been told,
My Face that had a fake smile has suddenly turned so old,
Megan I'm so sorry for what had happened that night,
My God, the scene of that accident was such a horrible sight,
The details of your murder made me feel unbearable despair,
Because of this killer's achievement you will never be there...
To recieve that badge of honor in choir that you always wanted,
For I without you there getting that honor makes me haunted,
What am I going to do? This seems too horrible to bear,
That as I see the truth as it is I want so much to share...
This pain that I have to this killer & make her hurt more than I,
But then I know that won't solve anything as I look up at the sky,
I Love You my Angel, Tell my Father & Vicki I said hi,
I'm trying to accept this but for now I can only try.

As the details of Megan's Car accident is being uncovered I found out that Megan's Car accident WAS NOT an accident, She was murdered by the driver of the car, The driver knew exactly what she was doing when she lost control of her vechile... I guess she thought she wouldn't survive the crash to face the charges, Well she did survive & She IS gonna pay! It was hard losing Megan but even more harder to know that your Best Friend was murdered!

i know how you feel when her mom told me this i all most feel apart and wanted to killer her then i thouht about it and knew that there was nothing that i could do but to hate her with i do and i wish that she pays for all of the pain she put so many people through

Oh hon, I'm so sorry, seems like you have had more than your fair share of pain. If I could, I'd truly take it away. Let me offer you a tiny bit of advice... Take from this what you can and use it to help you become a stronger person. I know it hurts and it's no fun. Good luck to you.

I saw this title earlier and passed and read several others. Just because this really hits home to me. Now that I read it, I'm not sure what the girl will get for her crime. I had a baby brother killed by a drunk driver. The story in itself is so ironic. My brother was only 23 when he was killed on January 8, 1992. The guy who killed him went to school with me. He was worthless then (always into drugs) and he was worthless when he took my brother's life. He had just was released from prison two weeks earlier for a drug conviction. He was sentenced to do ten years in prison for killing my brother. He did four. I still live without my brother regardless if he would have served the full ten. Some people will do whatever they want no matter what kind of laws are on the books. I do think that when you kill someone while driving drunk, it is murder and not an accident. An accident is when you kill someone not intentionally. So it cannot be said that it's an accident while drinking. It's against the law to drink and drive, therefore, it is murder and not an accident. Once we start prosecuting this way, then people might think different about drinking and driving. Told you this would hit home to me. Sorry about getting on my soap box, but it just comes out when certain emotions are sparked. It is a fine written poem.

I am so terribly sorry to hear this...I can't believe there are such evil people in the world that would do that. But don't worry, she will be judged, if not fairly on earth, then fairly at God's gates.
An extremely well written poem that truely expresses the pain and the anger that you must be feeling.
