Carefully he made his selection
and began cutting in all possible directions
the only way, he was sure, to get rid of the infection
completely unware of viewer discretion
blood flying everywhere
now who was to blame for the silence in the house
that thought is still bugging me
why was no one around
when he was screaming
What hurt him the most
as the chorus slows
was not the verse
it was all the missing words
as you laugh
as you smile
he lays there
and hes been there
for a while now
how long untill you notice
somethings missing
how long til you
decide to start listening
your son is lying
in his own blood
just because you can't see it
dosent mean these thoughts arent going on
Your son is long gone
You could have
taken the time to say
how was your day
but you do like you always do
and now he's turning blue
