Carry the Key...

Carry the key to unlock the gate
push it open
go inside the garden
and walk along the path...

Don't worry about the fork in the road, take a right,
and go past the old haunted willow.
Take a deep breath, fear isn't welcomed here,
the demons can sence it,
so push your emotions deep inside.

Take a little river raft upon the water,
paddle until you can paddle no more,
you've almost made it there.
Follow the red roses to wherever they take you
but beware, they all have thorns...

Let the light guide you,
and the scent of the pear blossoms,
and the taste of apples in the air,
and the touch of the sandy ground,
and the sound of me playing my lonely music...

Carry the key to unlock the gate
push it open
go inside the garden...
And you're almost to my heart, my dear.

    Great poem it had a sort of love poem with fatesy poem and I think they went hand in hand with each other. I like this poem also for the jorney involved.

    I liked it alot! Very very descriptive, mysterious, and creepy. I liked it! You definitely wrote this very well!!! And I liked how you described a different section in each group of verses, and then each verse described even more! Great job!!!

    this was a wonderful write. it was full of amazing imagery and it captivated me when i was reading. this was a wonderful write. the flow was really good aswell. well done and best of luck

    Wonderfully written. This is one of the best poems I have read so far. It is beautiful and it has many images to paint a picture for the reader. I enjoyed this greatly and hope to read more from you.
