Nothing more, nothing less

Everyday I walk the same streets and find nothing.
No friendly face, not even the one I love.
You're the one that sets things aflame.
Nothing I can do will make you see.
Nothing I can say will make you hear.
No matter what the circumstances, you're the one who's near.
Your smiling face is the one I need.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Nothing in this world can tare me away.
For you're the one I see everyday.
I know that my words are scrambled and my emotions are high.
but for you I would die.
You're the one i'd live to be with.
The one that one day will love me.
All in all in the end.
Our love will set us free.

    Sweet...

the emotion was raw and intense, I really enjoyed reading this. My favorite part was when you said

'The one that one day will love me'

because that is such and incredibly deep part of the poem, it's just one simple line, but it speaks out and helps the reader further understand what the author is writing about.

I thuroughly enjoyed this, thankyou for sharing it with allpoetry.com.

    much luv~
