Brainwashed

Life's battle begun
             at birth
    with baby's first breath.

Each day
   trials appear,

great and small;

perserverance learned
          from stumbled tries.

Determination drawn
         from within;

a blazing desire
        to be the best.

Parents tattoo brain,
           second place
         not good enough;

stress rises,
       table spun,

depression
    becomes home.

Break away
   with self satisfaction;

life's lesson learned,

acceptance
   of personal best
      runs parallel
           to hope.

Constantly striving
        for improvement
          and personal growth.

    A lovely piece so well crafted with the truth of lives lived in trials and under microscopes yet with hope always driving us forward. Loved it Hugs, Bunny
