The Red Cat Jazz Club!

We met in an extraordinary way.
Our words blended together like
a perfectly mixed drink.
The liquor of our essence was
fragrant and sweet.
Her eloquent use of language
enthralled my inner depths.
Twirling me into her world of
seductively induced concepts.
Yes, it's true that I am a major fan.
Escaping into the realm of this
superwonderful wo-man.
Feminine to the hilt.
Exuding sensual metaphors with every
sway of her beguiling hips.
Anyway, as the story goes,
I happened to find myself in
her favorite club one night.
In search of something more than
the usual appetites.
The ambience was dead on point.
Soothing melodies of jazz-a phonic
sounds were mesmerizing the joint.
I settled into my chair as always,
looking so debonair.
Scanning the neighbors to my left
and my right.
Feeling somehow, someway that this
was going to be my night.
Sisters of all persuasions blew me a kiss.
Not with their lips but the subtlely
seductive look of bliss.
You know the way they communicate undercover.
Whether with or without their lover.
I was feeling the vibes reverberating
inside my soul.
Always maintaining my cool
as not to appear arrogant or bold.
Suddenly there came a fortuitous distraction.
The host announced her as "Lady Enthralling."
Her presence was alluring and mystique.
As she glided on the wings of cool in
garments that were erotically chic.
The audience was in awe as was I.
As the spotlight peered on her body
I thought I would die.
Her skin was as radiant as egyptian gold.
Top to bottom she was a sight to behold.
Silence took center stage as she proceeded
to recite.
Out of "The Red Book of Love" she
uttered with eloquence and delight.
Casting her magic spell of sensuous charm.
As the crowd sat in hypnotic wonder while
watching her perform.
I was mystified beyond belief.
Captivated by breathtaking words that
swept me off my feet.
Like a nightingale she blessed our hearts
with the gift of poetic expression.
She no longer was just another face
but the object of my affection.
Overwhelmed by her enchantments and
provocative flair,
The Lady Enthralling became my obsession
although she was unaware.
Now my only desire is to win her heart.
The Red Cat Jazz Club is the place
where I will start.

Well, this takes me a time to read it, but before I close for today, I will chose few lines from this poem:
    ~
I settled into my chair as always,
    looking so debonair.
Scanning the neighbors to my left
    and my right.
    Feeling somehow, someway that this
was going to be my night.
