Forsaken Twilight

Twilight,
Sweet escape from the living realm
When power thirsts inside
Drawing feet to tread
Agile,
Reticent,
Swift...
Pursuit,
Delicate prey wondering through

unconfined to the night
Mortal minds defiant to the end

Confident,
Unknowing,
Dazed...
Shriek,
Shattering dreams of children
Deadlock, thirst for warm fluid

Drained of all exsistance
Bleak,
Clouded,

Forsaken...
Contour,
Relinquished form of flesh to feather
Impelling powerful wings to soar

Aviating through the moonlit sky
Clear,
Excited,

Aware...

I really was inspired by the thought of any of her books that have to do with vampires.

Brilliant!
Brilliant! It flows smoothly, plus it shows that you can take a word and transform it into something that has meaning...a story. Taking a single idea and changing it into something meaningful and full of description bursts with expression and creativity.
