Looked backward
at a familiar reflection.
Youth had our faces raised.
Laughter kept us healthy,
and child-like drama
always made an appearance.
We must be inter-locked
in frozen memory
where flashbacks belch;
"come-hither"!
Frequent reminiscing occurs.
Wonder where our true portion
stands in time?

I enjoyed this. It took me to that reoccuring past that haunts with heavy feet and shouting desire.

Ah Childhood
Adults can learn much from children including the ability to laugh. I loved that line for it serves as a good reminder to me. I'm often accused of taking life to seriously.
