It's the little things
That can fill you with wonder
An hour of days
Some filled with lightening and thunder
Like an hourglass
Filled with moments neverending
And letters filled with remorse
We end up never sending.
It's the way we live
That count when you're living
And how you manage the pain
Through those times we're not so forgiving
It's the little things
That stop you from going under
With a heart that brings
Fresh life filled with wonder.
Don't let the darkness in
And fill you up with its' sadness
Or lay like a stone in your heart
Where there used to be gladness
It's the little things
That can fill you with wonder
An hour of days
Some filled with lightening and thunder...
Those little things
That can break down those walls
And make this life that we live
No trouble at all...

this stanza stood out to me...
Don't let the darkness in
And fill you up with its' sadness
Or lay like a stone in your heart
Where there used to be gladness
It's the little things
That can fill you with wonder
An hour of days
Some filled with lightening and thunder...
I like the message in this.
